Many of you may have heard by now,
Silhouette is canceling the Bombshell line and the last
publication date will be January 2007. This means my fourth
book, Blowout, which was scheduled for an early summer
release, won’t be published at all. It also means there’ll be
no more Pink books, at least within Bombshell. I’ve been
asked to submit a proposal for a 4th Pink book to
Harlequin, who’ll take a look and decide whether to continue
Pink’s adventures in another venue. Perhaps as a stand-alone
book, not within a line of books. That wouldn’t be a bad
thing. Single titles are longer, and have more shelf time.
I’m hopeful the powers that be at Harlequin like Pink enough
to give her a shot.
I’d like to express my deepest, most
sincere appreciation to everyone who read the books, and for
your support along the way. It’s been a wild ride, and I’ve
enjoyed every minute of it. Here’s hoping it’s not over!
Tell the fat lady not to warm up, just yet.
